This module emphasizes collaborative and interactive learning, and aims to provide students with the: appreciation of the complexity of global supply chain activities and the challenges faced in their management, understanding of supply chain strategies, understanding of supply chain processes and their relationship to other business functions, recognition of information and communication technologies utilized in the design and management of supply chains, knowledge of emergent strategies and current trends in supply chain management and design.
This course provides students with a broad conceptual framework for evaluating production and operations management practices, and for developing useful intuition into the strategies and tactics that companies are employing to become world-class firms.
