Course Objectives: 

This class reviews the formal and conceptual state of contemporary art by analyzing its development from the beginning in the 19th century until today.

Course Content: 

Besides theoretical texts and the discussion of important artists, movements and media that influenced the evolution of modern art to contemporary, the seminar also analyzes the relationship between artists, art communicators and the people, so that it investigates internal and external discussions of contemporary art and its context.
