Course Objectives: 

Student will have knowledge about local governments both in Turkey and EU countries and could make comparison between them. Students will realize all dimensions of local governance.

Course Content: 

In this course, firstly local government systems in Turkey and public administration systems around the world, both Anglo-Saxon tradition, as well as in continental Europe – local governments systems in the EU will also be discussed, their main characteristics will be analyzed in a comparative perspective.
