Course Objectives: 

To examine the socio-cultural, economic and political infrastructures of cities and the phenomenon of urbanization, to investigate the connections between foreign migrations and urbanization, to define the urbanization process in Turkey, to evaluate the relationships between theories of settlement and modern settlements within the changing global interaction, to make multi-dimensional analyses of the phenomenon of urbanization developing out of legal regulation, to investigate the relationships between house and settlement problems and human rights, and to inform about urban security and urban rights.

Course Content: 

Public policy is the examination of public administration in terms of purpose, power and movement. The course will focus on preparation of public policies, their actors, theoretical approaches relating to the analysis of this process, policy affection methods and results of public policy.
