Course Objectives: 

The aim of this course is to inform students about effects of the information technologies on public administration and the e-government implementations.

Course Content: 

In this course, the concept of the information society, the emergence of the information society and its consequences will be discussed. On the other hand, as a means of facilitating the development and public services, e-government  will be processed. In this context, topics of this course include the following topics in particular: The concept and development of e-government, e-government portal structure, service gaps, recommendations, e-government projects, e-service concept in public administration, e-democracy, e-citizen, e-government applications in Turkey and in the world.
