Course Content: 

In this course students will learn about various advanced research methods and statistical techniques in psychology, by exploring their theoretical basis and their practical application. This course will facilitate students' ability to think about research questions, understand applied designs, manage relevant ethical issues, and communicate this through proposals relevant to ethics and scientific review committees. At its completion, students would be able to design and conduct research in applied settings; critically evaluate research publications and reports; understand the ethical issues in research; and appreciate how research informs the practice of psychology.
