The main objective of this course is to define the outline of these investment
banking transactions, which seems to be one of the most interesting and
complex transactions in today's business world. Students who take this
course will acquire a theoretical and conceptual framework for mergers and
acquisitions, as well as evaluate important issues such as strategy
determination and negotiation methods with examples from various mergers
and acquisitions.

Course Content:

An investment bank is a financial institution that provides many financing and
consultancy services, including corporate finance consultancy, company
mergers and acquisitions, brokerage, and brokerage transactions. The role of
the investment bank begins with the determination of the financing
requirement before capital issuance and continues as a record, public offering
and post-public consultancy. Mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships
and corporate restructuring processes are becoming more and more
important in today's business world. For this reason, managers of all levels,
dealing with the management of a company, especially company partners
and senior managers, should have an idea of why and how these transactions
take place and their role in economic growth.
