Dersin Açıklaması
This course focuses on different type of bioreactors in industrial area. Reaction and bioreactor conditions of submerged and solid-substrate cultures will be defined. Mass & Heat transfer equations will be interpreted for bioreactors. Continuous stirred tank reactor, air-lift, bubble column, fluidized bed and fixed bed will be investigated. Scale-up calculations will be performed for different type of bioreactors.
