The aim of this course is to discuss certain theories in aesthetics thoroughly throughout the history of philosophy using original texts of philosophers as source material.
Values within the field of aesthetics, and the determination of the relations between those values. An inquiry through the aesthetic theories from Plato to Adorno and Derrida and today, as well as a comparative analysis of the fundamental arguments in those theories.
