The aim of the couse is to define the field of creative industries which support national and local development significantly, to examine cultural and economic perspectives and to develop scientific and practical projects.
Creative industries have their origin in individual creativity, skill and talent and which have a potential for wealth and job creation through the generation and exploitation of intellectual property. The current definition recognises eleven creative sectors which are advertising, architecture, arts and antique markets, crafts, design, fashion design, film, video and photography, software, computer games and electronic publishing, music and the visual and performing arts, publishing, television and radio. The course focuses on the practice, and management of the cultural and creative industries; combines the analysis of the creative and cultural sectors at international, national and local levels.
