Course Objectives: 

The course discusses from a comparative perspective the theme of memory as a way of seeing, and as an important means of solving understanding and giving meaning to the past in literary works from the past and present.

Course Content: 

Themes such as space and cultural identity, concept of time and historical consciousness, universality, transience and death will be treated in selected literary texts.
