Course Description
New methods on theory and applications of communication systems. These include information measure (Entropy), mutual information, lossless and lossy source coding, channel capacity and advanced channel coding techniques (linear block codes, convolutional codes), channel coding complexity, information transmission channels and challenges (Wireless channels, Inter-Symbol-Interference (ISI) in band-limited channels), advance modulation techniques, and bandwidth, power and complexity trade-offs in digital communication systems, computer networks.
