Elective List

This course takes Sigmund Freud as a point of departure and offers a critical vantage point on psychoanalysis and literary theory. It concentrates on the rise at the end of the twentieth-century of theories such as object relations theory and ego psychology as well as the new focus of psycho-analysis on the pre-Oedipal period.
