Course Description
During laboratory work, it is essential to have knowledge about the risk factors associated with chemicals that can adversely affect safety and health. In this context, participants will gain information on identifying, controlling, and taking precautions against chemicals that can negatively impact the health of those working in the laboratory environment. This includes the classification of chemicals that can affect health, identification of dust, gases, and vapors in the environment, listing precautions that can be taken, as well as knowledge about the transportation, storage, and control of chemicals in the laboratory environment. Additionally, participants will learn how to conduct risk analysis while considering chemical risk factors.
