| (1) The program (courses + thesis) must be completed in a maximum of 12 semesters. | |||
| (2) Courses must be completed within a maximum of 4 semesters. | |||
| (3) The proficiency exam must be taken within the 5th semester at the latest. | |||
| (4) Students who have not taken at least graduate level courses in the following subjects must take these courses instead of Department Electives I, II, IV, V and VI : | |||
| -FE602 "Advanced Financial Econometrics," | |||
| -FE604 "Advanced Derivative Instruments and Markets," | |||
| -FE605 "Advanced Investment Analysis and Portfolio Theory," | |||
| -FE613 "Fundamentals of Advanced Corporate Finance," and | |||
| -FE618 "Advanced Financial Analysis." | |||

(5) Students may take up to three more optional extra-departmental electives to gain deeper expertise in their area of interest. |
