Master's Program In Animation Design
Animation Design Master Program is a new program at Yeditepe University. Within the framework of this program, it is aimed to educate animation designers who are familiar with rapidly changing technologies, who can approach animation design with a holistic perspective, and who have knowledge and skills from character design to film production.
Throughout this two-year interdisciplinary master's program, students are taught both conceptual and applied fields, animation, character design, modeling, storyboarding and filmmaking techniques, and train designers to work in various branches of advertising, cinema, television, multimedia and education.
Vision
Graduates from the Master's Program in Animation Design are expected to have the necessary capability, knowledge, and skills for animation designers working in both local and global markets. Along with that, they are also expected to produce on academic front; thus contributing on the scientific domain as well.
Mission
Master's Program in Animation Design has assumed the task of cultivating a socio-economical organization on animation field, meeting with market's need for animation designers, and developing academic production. For that reason; Master's Program in Animation Design; with its multidisciplinary perspective, is aimed to make animation design work a professional field and aid the animation design market which is growing in both our country and around the world.
