Course Content:
The general aim of the course is to introduce the field of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The lecture is based on providing a basic understanding of cognitive behavioral approaches to psychopathology, assessment, and therapy. In addition, students will learn how to formulate clinical cases and will be introduced to basic principles of clinical interviewing according to the CBT model. Throughout this course we will explore key concepts of CBT and major CBT intervention techniques as well as practical issues.
