Course Flow

COURSE
Week Subjects Preliminary
Introduction. Discussion of the opportunities that Photoshop software offers to designers and examination of examples.
An overview of file sizes, resolutions, and color modes. A composition is prepared using a combination of different photographs.
Color and light adjustment of the photos taken, removal of perspective and lens deformations, preparation for printing.
Texture creation exercises. Pen, path tools and layer effects are studied.
Information about mask types. Applications are made with text and photos.
Retouching photos. Eliminating defects in photography. (use of adjustment layer, healing brush, etc.)
Make color transformations. Use of limited number of colors, coloring of black and white photographs.
Recreation ile with deformation tools (warp, perspective, skew, etc.) and many photos.
Brush types and creating new brushes.
Multiple exposure applications are performed. Blending modes are introduced. To ensure color integrity between the layers (match color) is transferred to what needs to be done.
Write on the photo and add objects created with various effects.
Make photo-manipulations by using different photos together.
Working with external files. Adding and editing vector drawings. The use of text and visual elements together. Realistic addition of non-photographic objects to the composition.
Slice tool for web design and saving. Use of the “Save for web” feature. Animated gif application.
