Course Objectives:

The aim of the course is to provide the students with the knowledge of graphic design and technical application.

Course Content:

In WEB DESIGN course, students are informed about basic principles of web design, interaction design principles and user experiences. Students will be able to use web design formats (Adobe Dreamweaver or equivalent), web tags formats and features, html tags, workspace, tools, menus and panels, web project planning and diagramming, linking between pages, in-page ordered and unordered lists working, visual preparation and insertion in pixel based program for web, navigation design, menus and buttons, web colors and web typography, working with CSS, paragraph and title shaping with styles, creating background and frames, creating multi-column dynamic pages, using javascript, gain information about designing websites such as adding additions (pop-up windows, buttons etc.). Gain experience in designing and implementing websites.

1	Web Tasarıma giriş. Kodlama dilleri ve tasarım yöntemleri hakkında genel bilgilerin verilmesi
2	HTML etiketlerinin tanıtılması.
3	Dreamweaver programına giriş. Panellerin tanıtılması. HTML ile bir web sayfasının hazırlanması.
4	Sayfalar arası bağlantıların (link) kurulması.
5	Sayfa içi linkler ve sıralı-sırasız listeler ile çalışmak.
6	F otoğrafların web sayfalarına eklenmesi. Dosya formatları ve Photoshop ile hazırlık aşamaları.
7	Metin ve fotoğraflar kullanarak 4 sayfalı bir web sitesinin oluşturulması.
8	Roll-over butonların hazırlanması. Örnek web sitesinin tasarlanması.
9	Vize Sınavı
10	CSS’ye giriş. Stil dosyaları ile paragraf ve başlıkları şekillendirmek.
11	CSS ile zeminler, çerçeveler oluşturmak.
12	CSS ile buton yapımı. Örnek bir sitenin hazırlanması.
13	Div etiketi (tag) ve CSS ile sayfa düzeni çalışmaları
