Course Objectives:

The aim of the course is to acquire the general knowledge on the art theories, to gain a comparative interpretation ability about the eras and period styles, to correctly understand the terms to be used in evaluating works of art, especially to be able to read artworks.

Course Content:

The scope of this course is the theories of art, era and period styles. At the same time, It encourages students to evaluate contemporary, popular and universal design issues with a critical approach.
