Course Objectives: 

Students are expected to learn about how to design written ideas in visual ways, how to apply them in the animation process, and how to create scenes in order to maintain cinematic continuity.

Course Content: 

This course is aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of visual language and how it relates to the animation world. Within this course film structure, composition and stage continuity and visual literacy knowledge is developed. Through interactive lectures, discussion, demonstration, the use of film clips and studio work, students develop their drawing skills and their ability to visualize ideas and concepts in the form of a drawn storyboard.
