Course Objectives: 

Main goal of the course is to introduce various interdisciplinary expansions of space and identity, and in the light of these expansions to discuss the relationship between these concepts with literature.

Course Content: 

The concept of space began to have an important role in novels parallel to the development of novel. That space has become one of the major components of novel both helped it to move away from being dependent on event-driven characters only, and made it possible to further discover its personal and social dimensions. In this course, the interaction of the concepts space and identity will be addressed and their reflections on literature will be examined.
