Course Objectives: 

The goal of the course is to make students have knowledge about mythology, comprehend the importance of first and fundamental narratives of literature on human life and study on contemporary literary texts in the light of myth theories.

Course Content: 

This course aims to address and examine the research on mythology, the concept of myth, the characteristics of myths, functions and types of myth by opening to discussion the definition of mythology. It aims to further study in what ways mythology penetrates into literature, and the nature of the relationship between myths and literature.
