Course Objectives: 

This course is a scientific preparation course about design history and design principles.

Course Content: 

This course has the objective to introduce the students to the principles of design and its history on a philosophical basis. It provides students with comprehensive understanding of design, art, architecture, industrial design and art trends and its effects on social life. Emphasis is on helping students to be knowledgeable of the essentials of design and design concepts through class discussions.
