Course Objectives: 

This course aims to provide to the students the basic principles of visual culture, visual perception and persuasion on a theoretical and practical basis.

Course Content: 

This course introduces students to the principles of visual perception and visual persuasion with an emphasis on visual, rhetoric theories and cultural influences. It provides also an approach where physical and psychological aspects of visual perception and persuasion are discussed.  It aims to offer students an understanding of visual elements which are used to create meaning and to construct a strategy of shaping the public messages.
